Mark Von Wald brings over 15 years of construction management experience on regional water systems, with extensive hands-on involvement working with landowners, contractors, and engineers from planning through final completion. His background as both a contractor and owner’s representative provides balanced insight that adds strength to project teams.

Mark founded Accelerated Consulting to assist Project Owners, Engineers, and Contractors during high volume task execution. Having worked in all phases of construction allows him to integrate into project teams on an as-needed basis providing value when needed most.

Mark wants to partner with owners and engineers to strengthen project teams—supporting early planning, filling critical gaps during construction, and stepping in when added oversight or capacity is needed to maintain momentum and protect project outcomes.

About Me.
I was born and raised in northern Minnesota, where work ethic wasn’t something you talked about—it was just something you did. Clearing brush, splitting wood, and weeding gardens taught me early that doing the hard part brings good things. I’ve always loved the outdoors, especially gardening and fishing, but I also learned I was built for hands-on work and real results.

I started in construction right out of high school while studying law and business. After graduating from Minnesota State Mankato, I worked as a project manager for a specialty contractor installing liquid storage tanks. In 2012, I moved to Culbertson, MT with my soon-to-be wife and jumped into oil & gas in the booming Bakken. Trading slacks for grease-soaked FR’s was an education in hard work, fast decisions, and high-stakes environments.

When oil prices declined in late 2014, I shifted toward stability and found my passion in water infrastructure. Joining the Western Area Water Supply Project in 2015 connected me to projects with real impact. Working on rural distribution introduced me to people who had waited decades for reliable water. Seeing how clean water transformed farms, families, and entire communities ultimately shaped the direction of my career.

Since then, I’ve served as both an Owner’s Representative and Contractor on regional and rural water systems across the Midwest. I’m drawn to the planning, design, and steady leadership that keep projects on track through friction, turnover, and community expectations. My goals are simple: provide reliable field oversight that maintains schedules, budgets, and delivers quality infrastructure rural communities can thrive on. I look forward to bringing a disciplined, results-driven approach and a proven record of performance to your next project.
